Modele is a post-punk/gothic band from Toronto, Canada.
Often compared to iconic 80s acts like The Sisters of Mercy, The Cure, and Depeche Mode, Modele has carved out a sound that is distinctly their own.
While rooted in the dark and melodic traditions of post-punk, their music carries a modern edge, blending timeless atmosphere with contemporary production and style.
Modele released their gloomy and cold, anthemic, post-punk debut album, "Pleasure For The Holy" on March 2025, followed by amazing feedback and reviews.
The have also performed live next to bands like She Past Away, Ultra Sunn, Actors and the classic New wave band China Crisis!

From the frostbitten fringes of Toronto, Modele (Chris Huggett and Nathan Wiltshire) serve up post-punk with bite and bite-back. Their latest release, Pleasure For The Holy, slinks through smoke-thick basslines and synths that smirk, channeling the decadent disillusionment of ‘80s new wave. It’s mood with muscle, swagger steeped in static: proof that gloom can still groove when dressed to kill.
